Pricing
Yes. Single-user service is available, but the price is higher than the standard two-user-and-above pricing shown on the website. Contact us for the current single-user price.
Inclusive plans include eligible calls within the plan terms. PAYG plans have a lower monthly user fee and calls are charged separately at the applicable rate.
PAYG is available across the different feature levels, but is currently arranged manually through our contact form.
No. Website prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.
Free trial
The free trial lasts for 14 days.
No. A credit card is not required to start the 14-day trial.
Yes. It is sensible to test the service, devices and internet connection before moving an important business number. Number porting is handled separately from the initial trial.
Switching and number porting
In many cases, yes. Existing UK business numbers can often be transferred to the service through number porting.
Porting depends on the current provider, number type, account details and whether the submitted information matches the existing service record.
Timescales vary according to the number type, current provider and complexity of the transfer. We will confirm the required information and provide an expected timescale once the request has been reviewed.
No. Cancelling the existing service too early can cause the number to be lost or make the port fail. Keep the current service active until the transfer is completed and you have been told it is safe to cancel.
Yes. We can help you plan users, numbers, call routing, phones and the timing of the move.
Setup, internet and phones
You need a stable broadband or business internet connection with enough capacity for the number of simultaneous calls you expect to make.
Call quality can be affected by weak Wi-Fi, congestion, packet loss, latency, poor local cabling or incorrectly configured networking equipment.
No. Depending on the way you work, you can use a compatible desk phone, computer softphone or mobile application.
A desk phone may still be preferable for reception areas, shared workspaces, frequent callers or users who want a traditional handset.
Yes. Users can work from suitable remote locations using supported phones or applications with a reliable internet connection.
Emergency-calling location information may still relate to the registered service address, so remote users must understand the emergency-calling limitations.
Most straightforward setups can be completed quickly once users, numbers, call routing and devices have been agreed. More complex requirements may need additional planning.
Features
Available features vary by plan and can include call forwarding, voicemail, hunt groups, call queues, auto attendants, call recording, mobile and desktop applications, reporting and other business call-management tools.
Call recording is available on appropriate plans or configurations. The customer is responsible for using recording lawfully, informing callers where required and managing access and retention appropriately.
Yes. Calls can be routed using features such as hunt groups, call queues, simultaneous ringing, time schedules and forwarding, depending on the selected plan and setup.
Yes. Hosted VoIP is designed to be flexible, so users, numbers and features can be adjusted as your requirements change.
Contracts, cancellation and support
The standard hosted service is provided monthly unless a different minimum term or agreement is stated for a specific order, promotion, device or service.
Standard monthly service normally requires 30 days’ notice, subject to the applicable order and terms. Number porting, equipment, outstanding charges or separately agreed services may need additional handling.
Use the online support form for account, service, configuration or technical enquiries. Providing the affected number, user, device and a clear description helps us investigate more quickly.
Yes. Call us on 020 8050 5141 or use the online contact form.
Emergency calling
Yes. Calls to the UK emergency services can be made by dialling 999 or 112.
Because this is an internet-based phone service, emergency calling may not work during a power cut, broadband failure, equipment fault or service outage.
Location information associated with the service may relate to the registered service address rather than the caller’s current physical location. Keep the address accurate and always state your current location during an emergency call.
Yes. Customers should maintain an alternative method, such as a charged mobile phone with network coverage, in case the VoIP service, internet connection or local power is unavailable.
